The Sheraton is centrally located in Scottsdale, but you feel you really are in a desert oasis. It was a perfect jumping off point to many of the most beautiful sites in the State.
There were five of us staying in two one-bedroom condos. One was a one-bedroom deluxe, which had a lot more room than the one-bedroom standard. However, both rooms had a full kitchen (fully stocked, including a blender), dining table, living room area with fold-out couch, full bedroom -- one with a king bed, the other a queen and both had a washer and dryer. We were on the ground floor and each room had a patio--and nearby there were outdoor grills. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. There was no maid service during the week, but we could have paid a fee and had the maids come in during the week.
The resort has two pools; one for adults -- the quiet pool and the other a large pool with waterfall, hot tub grotto and sprinkler play area. This pool also had a grill, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner -- and drinks. We enjoyed many hours in the pool. The resort also has a fully equipped gym -- though we opted to go down the street -- about three miles to our local Curves.
The concierge was extremely helpful -- assisting with trips and tour, restaurant and other area information. The resort had plenty of activities on site; for adults and children alike. We could have stayed the entire week on site and not have been bored. During the week we were there, they were offering activities including, wine tasting, country line dancing lessons, pottery classes, story telling, and morning water exercise classes, to name just a few.
While the resort is small, I would definitely go back and highly recommend it.
