Best Things About the Resort:
One of the best things about this resort was the location. It is conveniently located a couple of minutes off of highway 101. This allows for easy access to both downtown Phoenix and the surrounding areas.
Resort Experience:
We were extremely pleased with our accommodations at Sheraton’s Desert Oasis. The resort offers three sizes of rooms, standard one bedroom, deluxe one-bedroom, and two-bedroom. The two bedroom condominiums contain a lock out feature giving you access to both a one-bedroom deluxe and a one-bedroom condo. Even though we were in one of the smaller rooms offered at this resort, we still felt that it offered plenty of room. Our room consisted of a partial kitchen, living room, bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. The room also contained a washer and dryer, stereo, two large screen televisions, and a VCR.
Despite the kitchen only being partial, we were still able to prepare the majority of our meals here. The only appliance it was really missing was a stove. It had a convection/microwave oven, fridge/freezer, and a dishwasher. Barbeques are also available on site for guests to use.
The resort offers a fantastic pool, complete with a waterfall and Jacuzzi. We spent many afternoons relaxing by the pool during the day and relaxing in the Jacuzzi after a long day exploring.
We were a little disappointed in the on-site amenities the resort offers. The resort did not have a bar or restaurant on-site. Besides that, it was a great place to stay and one we would consider returning to.
