Next Door to King Metro Stop and Very Friendly

As a female traveling alone felt very safe. I was checking in early. Room wasn't ready yet so the front desk upgraded me to the Honors Club Floor which had then a refidgerator. How lovely. I really appriecated that. Room was very well appointed. Looked quite new. Shower had decent water pressure. Very clean. There was no mirror in the room execpt behind the small closet door. Large desk. Bed barley so so. Did like the six pillows per bed. Yes you can hear the metro but it didn't bother me at all. It wasn't that loud. Durring the day a regular train sped by that was much much louder. Will definatley stay again.

Great place.

Good rooms, parking a little pricey. Great location to the metro, to DC. Walk down the street a ways to better food and prices, Alexandria old town.

No attention to the details

I would expect to have the details attended to - like always having regular coffee in the room, or making sure cream is left for the coffee. I went to the desk one morning at 6:00 to see if I could get cream for the coffee and was told to wait until 6:30 and then call room service! Also, I had to go find the housekeepers twice, once to get a bar of soap on one occasion and get washcloths on another. The next time I go back there it will be somewhere else.

Great Hotel

This hotel was great! It was very clean and comfortable and the room was well appointed. The hotel is located in Old Town Alexandria near many restaurants & shopping on King Street, and is across the street from the metro to DC. Some minor metro noise was detectable from our room although it wasn't loud enough to bother us. The hotel charges for parking (as most in the area probably do.) The subterranean parking seemed safe & secure and had convenient access to the lobby & rooms via large elevators. There is a Starbucks in the hotel lobby for those that don?t want to brew it in the rooms for free. The hotel is a short 7 mile drive to DC and in an area great for spending a quiet evening away from the big city. Old Town Alexandria is a tourist destination.
