Sounds like trucks coming through your room

Not recommended at all. I read some of the good reviews and I have to beleive they were written by hotel staff. The room are old, continental breafast must have been from a continent where the people are starving. I found the vending machines at most hotels have a better breakfast. The rooms - literally a number of times I thought that a vehicle was coming through my wall because the noise was so loud. I am dead serious. There is nothing close to this place but the staff will drive you somewhere if you can stand the nasty looks you get for asking to be driven somewhere. Do not stay here!!!!

NEVER STAY HERE - horrible customer service

This Hotel, while it looks okay from the inside, has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. The hotel double charged me then blamed someone else and was incredibly rude to me on the phone when I called to get it straightened out. AJ, at the front desk told me there was noone above him in charge of the hotel, which we all know is never true in a hotel unless you're an owner. I was there scouting the place to book a series of rooms for a week and this made absolutely no difference to AJ. Apparently this hotel has no regard for those who keep their cash flowing. In this economy they are lucky to be afloat and should really consider treathing their guests with more appreciation.

Horrible

my fiance and I were fool into thinking that this was a great Hotel,We were woke up hours before checkout to a hotel employee asking us if we are running water. I told him no, you just woke us up. He ask to see the bathroom and when we looked inside the bathtub was full of dirty water from the room above us. I was so upset. We were unable to shower and they did not want to reimberse me for our terrible stay in that hellhole. In fact i would take two stars off of thier profile.

3 Star Class Rating Way Too Generous...

Don't be fooled by Executive Inn website photos that show only the nicest rooms & a modern fitness facility that is in the new "first class" building. My wife & I were assigned a room facing the busy I-880 freeway in the old "steerage" section that is unadvertised for good reason. Our room was too small even for a closet, dark, dingy & especially noisy during early am rush hour. Unlike the new building's comfortably air conditioned fitness center, the hot & stuffy center in the old building contains equipment that pre dates the 30 year old stationary bike in my crawl space. The breakfast isn't comparable to the selection of hot dishes now common in many budget hotels like Comfort Inns. While the coffee & juice selections were good, the only hot dish was the self serve waffles. The pastries were no better than 1-2 day old packaged pastries from Safeway. Silverware is plastic & cups styrofoam. Cut-up fruit is unavailable. Our 3 night stay was the lone letdown in our 2 week vacation to Hotwire booked hotels. We were unaware of the superior amenities in the new building until we discovered them on our own. We were not told about them when we checked in. Nor was there an advisement in the room. We were relegated to second class hotel "citizen" status because we booked through Hotwire. Although we emailed a request for a room on the waterside or in the new building, the manager declined unless we paid extra; and so I know better rooms were unoccupied. He then gave me a card offering a better deal if I booked my next visit directly instead of through Hotwire. The Homewood Suites next door offer a much better value, better breakfast, evening pasta dishes, & much nicer rooms.

Kind of a dump

The regular rooms here (I had a waterside King) are old and poorly maintained. The balcony door frame was bent and the screen cut. The main door deadbolt broken. One light switch was broken. The staff promised to take care of these the first day but of course maintenance never arrived. It's true that the hotel is not close to anything, although it's location on the water is nice. The city side rooms will be extremely noisy since the hotel is right next to the freeway and train tracks. The suite building is newer, and I would imagine the suites are probably nicer. The Waterfront Plaza (which I've stayed at a number of times) is just down the road at Jack London Square, and is *much* nicer.
