I booked a room here based on the reviews on the travel agency site. I got to the hotel and they had changed me from a room with two queen beds to a room with one. I had to fight with them to give me a room that I had originally booked. They told me that I had to call travel agency. It was 11 at night and I have a 3 month old. I eventually got them to correct the room. We then had guests above us with small children that they were allowing to run from one end of the room to the other. We complained 3 times at the front desk, they had their maintenance person come and witness the racket themselves. Their response was that we could move rooms, but they would leave the other guests where they were. As I said we had a 3 month old that had gone to sleep (oblivious to the noise of course). We wanted to know why we could not be comensated for the terrible nights sleep, and they responded that because we booked through travel agency and not them that it was our problem. I won't be staying at another La Quinta Inn.

Plan on going back again and again!

So, I almost didn't want to write this review and keep this hotel our little family secret, but that wouldn't be fair to them! We have annual passes to Disneyland and go back every couple of months and we've been trying different hotels every time to find one that fits our needs. There are four families that go together and we all have small children (ages 1-3), so we have some pretty specific needs. First off, the rooms are wonderful. Not gigantic, but roomy, and it is so nice to be able to close the door at the end of the ngiht so the kids can sleep and the parents don't have to. The continental breakfast is delicious, very satisfying, and with a lot of choices. It's hard to find a breakfast that keeps the grownups and the toddlers happy, but they've done it. It's about a quarter mile to Disneyland and we walked back and forth each day (about 10 minutes) with our kids in their strollers. Let me tell you, we are a bunch of moms and dads for which fitness is not an every day occurrence and the walk is no big deal. We contemplated taking the shuttle and it was nice to have it as an option, but we didn't need it. We checked in 3 hours early, which was heaven after the 5 hour car drive. The pool was awesome and heated and fenced in. In February at night, it was plenty warm enough and the jacuzzi was just what the doctor ordered after a long day at Disneyland. We love La Quinta and plan on staying there when we go back in May. Thanks for the memories!

Christmas at Disney

Our family of 6 (four teenagers) stayed here during Christmas week to go to Disneyland. Hotel check in staff seemed tired but willing to help in any way. Housekeeping staff very quick and helpful. The three room suite we stayed in was clean and comfortable...a little worn, but great to have one room for Dad and Mom, one for the older two and one for the younger two (this last one had a pull out sofa and we rented a roll a way). We had a fridge and micro which really helped in keeping cost down for a meal. Hotel breakfast was ok, eggs gross, but if you got there early enough, plenty of waffles, buiscuits, cereal, donuts, canned fruit, juice, coffee etc. The pool is very small, outside, enclosed in a fence, but heated. The different amenities of the hotel (gift shop, breakfast room, etc.) are all on different floors and not always easy to find. We stayed here thinking it was a close to walk to Disney...NOT! DO NOT stay here if you have small children and do not plan on driving or riding the shuttle. We ended up buying shuttle passes since the walking back and forth with walking in the park was way to exhausting-even tho we are all in good shape! We would probably choose to stay closer in walking distance to D next time. There are also no inexpensive quick serve restaurants close by-most over on Katella or Disney way. Our overall stay was very good and we would recommend this hotel as long as you are not staying with the thought in mind to walk to Disney.

This was a great place to stay. We got there too early for check-in but the staff was very helpful and checked us in anyway. If you are going to DisneyLand, it's an easy walk -- 2 blocks away. The rooms were spacious and clean. All of the staff was very helpful and courteous.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple's get-away. And it was a fantastic place to stay. The breakfast was perfect and plenty of room to sit and eat. The people that helped us at check in were very friendly. And I am in a wheelchair and the rooms were perfect for me!! I would recommend anyone to stay here. Also very close to Disneyland and resturants.
