Castle Ocean was old. Torn bed sheets. Charged $2.50 for one additional coffee packet. Restaurant dirty, Lounge closed. Be prepared to have $100.00 held against your charge card. Surface around pools torn and dirty outside carpet, Wear shoes.

Everything about this place stinks. The beds are ancient lumpy, you can feel all the spring coils, musty smell, dreary atmosphere, food was aweful, please saty clear of this place.

I've stayed at many hotels in Waikiki. O/R's rooms are large and clean, but this dreary hotel really needs renovation. Some rooms smell awful, but management wouldn't "believe" it, so I had to pay extra to get one that didn't reek.
