Best Things Nearby:
Disneyland, Seaworld, San Diego Zoo

Best Things About the Resort:
Spacious rooms with lots of beds, kitchenette, good service, continental breakfast, lots of parking, shuttle service to Disneyland

Resort Experience:
This is the best place to stay when going to Disneyland. We had a two-bedroom unit which had one king-size bed in one room, two queen-size beds in the second room, and a pull-out bed in the front room. The unit does not have a kitchen but does have a microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, and a few utensils. We loved the free continental breakfast that was served every morning. The RCI directory says that the breakfast is $3, but we were told it was free to all guests. We paid $3 per adult per day to ride the shuttle to the front gate of Disneyland (which turned out to be cheaper than paying for parking at Disneyland), and it was so convenient to just jump on the shuttle back and forth from the park to the room. The pool was nice, but it was a little too close to the parking lot. The rooms were not immaculate, but they were pretty clean. It was great being so close to Disneyland in a two-bedroom timeshare.

Best Things Nearby:
Not much. Finding a bar/dance club outside of the VERY expensive Disney Downtown was a TASK!!! A task that I failed. This area is a strip-mall hell, great for professional shoppers and not for frugal culture-seekers. The Block has some great amusement features - Dave & Buster's especially.

Best Things About the Resort:
Close to the Disney campus and right off of interstate highway 5. They uniquely offer smoking rooms.

Resort Experience:
I do NOT recommend Peacock Suites "Resort"(ha!). The ice and vending area on our floor didn't have any vending, just ice. Tub-size pool was not for groups of kids. The whirlpools ARE nice, however. Meager continental breakfast was served in one of the hotels suites (pretty cramped): an apple, an orange, choice of three cereal choices (two cold, one hot), white/wheat toast (toast it yourself) with butter/two flavors of jam, three types of danish, coffee/tea, and 4-ounce apple/orange juice boxes. It's one mile from Disneyland/California Adventure parks, and I would've had to pay for a shuttle to the park had I not driven my own car (even though the shuttle is run by the Anaheim Resort, which is supposedly an SVC property also).

Best Things Nearby:
The Disneyland resort properties were nearby, and it was within driving distance of several other major attractions, including Universal Studios, Knott's Berry Farm, Magic Mountain, Legoland USA, and more.

Best Things About the Resort:

Resort Experience:
Grandma and grandpa wanted to take the grandkids to Disneyland on a budget. Our best find was the Peacock Suites. We didn't exchange a week, but rather we paid per night. For the incredibly low price of $167 per night, we received a high-capacity two-bedroom suite that slept eight people. Another nice feature was the continental breakfast. Fresh fruit, juice, coffee, cereal, toast, pastries, and milk rounded out their menu. Our only complaint was the lack of protein, which was easily remedied with a visit 7 blocks down to Von's grocery store. With the addition of yogurt and cheese in the dorm-size fridge, we were able to start our day well-fed.

Another benefit is how close it is to Disneyland. Since we had eight people, it was more economical for us to drive and pay $9 parking for two cars. However, if our group had been smaller, we would have opted for the shuttle to Disneyland. The staff was very helpful with special requests. It has a nice family pool and two spas. You could hardly tell a major road was just on the other side of the wall.

During our visit, only two things were a challenge. Our room was on the side adjacent to an industrial laundry operation, so from 2am through the morning, we heard the high-pitched whine of the washers Monday through Friday. Bring your earplugs! Our other trial was parking. The lot is exceedingly small, and it was very difficult to park the compact rentals we had. If we did successfully park, we had to squish out after dropping off any passengers. This is not a luxury condo by any means, but it is a fantastic place to sleep and shower in between visits to the amusement parks.

Best Things About the Resort:
Front desk staff, small kitchens in units, and complimentary breakfast.

Resort Experience:
This is a very pleasant resort. They have an on-site gift shop and a complimentary breakfast. The staff is very nice (except the front desk supervisor who was rude and unprofessional). The housekeeping was nice and the suites were tidy.
