We only stayed overnight to bar hop down at the beach. It was approriate for that purpose. Nothing fancy, but it was close to a lot of restaurants, shopping centers and of course the beach was just a short cab drive away. It was a little noisy at night from other guests, not sure if it was just because of spring break. The continental breakfast was over by 10:00 am, not a drop of OJ or a pastry left. I had trouble with the coffee. I filled it for 3 cups and it came out looking more like tea, I couldn't even drink it, and I tried it twice. The shower head and water pressure wasn't great. So it was okay for a night but, if I was staying any longer I'd probably stay somewhere else.
Hotel was decent

Hotel was clean and in a good central location to all Huntington Beach activities and hot spots. The continental breakfast was not that great and very limited. I would not count on eating breakfast there each morning. Other than that, hotel service was good. Room was cleaned each morning and rooms were adequate for just using to sleep and shower. I would stay here again.

Our overall stay at this property was very enjoyable. The property is in a nice location amid other businesses (several fast food resturants are close by, as well as dept. stores). We chose it for its central location- it is close to the beach, Huntington Pier, Disneyland, the Pacific Coast Highway, and the interstate.
Our room was clean and the cleaning staff were very polite. The front desk attendants were polite and helpful with suggestions about the local area. The lobby was full of pamphlets on attractions in the area as well as a schedule for Disneyland.
The continential breakfast did leave room for improvement however. If you are a breakfast person don't count on it filling you up, granted a continential breakfast is not suppose to equal a buffet, but it left alot to be desired.
Be aware that there are a considerable number of stairs to get to the second and third floor rooms. There is however an elevator on only one side of the property.
Overall we had a very nice stay here and would stay here again in the future.

The room was old and dirty looking. Stains on carpet, chairs, sides of box spring, and even the pillow cases! I requested new pillow cases and they were just as bad. The door locked, but looked so flimsy that someone could break it in if they really wanted. We stayed for one day and opted not to take showers because it looked old and filthy in the bathtub/shower. Overall, we could not wait to check-out. The worst part was the fact that our air conditioning stopped working after we came back from a late dinner and visit to the beach. It was about 10 pm and we decided to adjust the buttons thinking maybe that would help, but it still would not blow cold air. It was much hotter in our room than it was outside, but we did not want to open the window- not even for a few minutes because there was no screen and we did not want bugs flying in. So, at midnight we tried calling the front office about 5 times and let it ring for several minutes each time: no answer. My two toddlers were sweating so much their hair was wet around the edges and their backs were dripping with sweat as they slept. We woke up early and checked out and when I advised them of the AC problem and the fact that no one answered the phone the manager acted like I was lying and sent the maid to the room to check the AC and supposedly the maid said it was blowing cold air. Strange that she was in the room over 10 minutes to say that it was blowing cold and claimed that we had it turned to 'hot' which implies that we don't know how read!
