The pool is listed as closed however, the renovations is complete and the pool is open. I stayed here while in town for a reunion. The staff is friendly. While not on the beach it is a conveniently located between the beach and the highway making I-5, the silver strand and I-805 easily accessible. Remember if you want to be on the beach you will pay more. I will stay there again and recommend it to anyone traveling. Remember IB is the locale for the new HBO series and was part of the locale for several movies
