Don't Stay Here

The room seemed OK when we checked in. Later in the evening, the thin walls let us hear activities upstairs and next doors. Apparently, the room next door was rented by a prostitute or her john. We were kept awake by two bouts of humping on a squeaky bed.
We elected to leave after the first night, even though we lost the room rate for the second night.

We were dropping our daughter off at UC Berkeley and I figured it could not be that bad for just one night. Right after we pulled up I had a bad feeling and it was confirmed when we went into our room. It looks more like a place you would rent by the hour. We had already paid for the room when we made our reservation but my husband and I decided we would rather drive all the way home than risk sleeping in the bed. The room was not dirty and the manager was nice but like I said, "You get what you pay for."
Clean & Quiet

My boyfriend & I were in town to celebrate our birthdays at a 2 day concert and were on a bit of a budget. When we pulled in, there were several other concert goers hanging out in the parking lot - we figured we were in the right place! We went up to our room and found the accomidations adequate - the room was clean and the bed comfortable. What we were most impressed with is how quiet the room was - we didn't hear any of our neighbors return from the show, and the surrounding city noise (including trains) was almost non-existant! It's a nice, quiet budget motel and we would stay again.
