Would Want to Return

The Holiday inn in Concord New Hamsphire is easy to find and once you get inside, the ammeities like the pool and dining areas are great. The staff was very friendly and pointed me to an old-fashioned barbershop, almost across the street, in which they still did a shave with a straight-edge and hot, steamy towels. The rooms were nice - nothing fancy but then we weren't paying for fancy. The only complaint I have would be in the pool area in which more ventalation would have helped. The water was nice and warm, and the pool water and area were clean, but is was a bit stuffy, and steamy in there. I would go back for sure and it was right next to the State Capital building and other small shops with a wide variety.

Wonderful experience!

Last summer my husband was home from Iraq for 2 weeks, and we had to change our arrival date several times at the last minute while we awaited his arrival. The front desk staff were very understanding and accomodating, and on top of that, once we had checked in and then gone to see family, they put a bottle of champagne, a dish of desserts and chocolate-covered strawberries, and a thank-you note for his military service in our room to welcome him home! I will never forget their wonderful treatment of my family, and will always stay there when I am back in Concord!

asked for 2 rooms close together - what we got were rooms as far away as possible - had to wait over 1 hour for breakfast - next time will eat elsewhere - on the plus side rooms were comfortable and large - bed was extremely comfortable

If you prefer a hard mattress, this is the place! Comfy pillows, but we found the mattress to be hard. The room was good sized with a sitting area and coffee table. We did not eat there, but there are places to eat near the hotel on Louden Road. The hotel is very easy to find off Rte 93.
