Was told of this hotel from a business aquaintance and it MORE that exceeded my expectations! The Staff is extremely hospitable, the bedding was extrememly comfortable, the wine 'Happy Hour' was great as well. But one of the best parts was having a goldfish in the room!
A GREAT place to stay - I will DEFINITELY try to stay at a Kimpton owned facility in the future! I will recommend it to my friends as well!
Food at the Monaco -- Be Forewarned

Reader, be forewarned first: I can be a tad picky. Not ridiculous, but I expect certain things. For example, when enquiring after how the carbonara was prepared, Iwas was given a litany of justice to the plate. Thick cut pancetta? Yes! Farmers cheese? Yes! It was bacon and a slim slab of ricotta!!! What the heck? Moreover, slimy and undercooked (nowhere yet near al dante). Ew! Be forewarned!
