Be prepared for the worst!

My family and I planned a trip to seaworld and well it was okay very hot. I would suggest going in a different month. And you do not need two days to see seaworld not even a full day. We took our children to Knotts soak city which was fun, the kids enjoyed it. We got back to check into our hotel at 7pm mind you check in time was at 4pm only to find out that the hotel was not ready for our arrival. They asked us if we could stay out another hour or so before check in. That was terrible, I have three children and after a long day all you want to do is come back to your hotel and rest and we could not. The only thing my family enjoyed about the The Dana on mission bay was there swimming pool. Nothing else...It's location was great the food was overated if I had to do it again for the price we paid I would stay somewhere else.

This hotel is on a very beautiful property. We originally booked a non-view room and it felt very claustrophobic (parking lots on both sides of the room and a very small bathroom) I contacted the staff and they moved us to a beautiful bay view room that was very spacious and could not have been better. I would definitely stay there again but not in a non-view room, which did not seem worth the money.

Overall a good experience. Nice clean rooms and polite service. Fitness room needs upgrade (no weights) long line for breakfast at the Blue Parrot. Perfect locale for water bugs with the marina and Mission Beach nearby. Shuttle service could be more user friendly with drops downtown or at Old Town.

We loved our stay at The Dana recently. The room was a little small, but clean and quaint. There was a frig and microwave. The beds were comfy. We had a beautiful view of the Marina and were able to watch the fireworks from Sea World from in front of our room. There were no hidden costs and the people were friendly. We would stay again.

The Dana could not have been in a better location. We were witin l/2 hour of everything. You could not have a nicer view. the pool and restaurant were awesome and we always were able to get lounge chairs. The people who worked int he hotel could not have been nicer.
