It really didn't live up to what Kimptons should be. It wasn't very clean. It didn't have the boutique feeling I got from the DC Kimpton. The staff wasn't very helpful either. Only 3 people were working there the whole time I was there. It took an inordinate amount of time to get checked in. I will never go there again. Palmer House or the Hyatt are your best bet.

Allegro is not worth the money. The rooms are substandard, as is the service, decor, and location

We stayed here for my 21st birthday and loved it! Very elegant, comfy, and clean. Would definantly stay again! Close to good shopping and other attractions.
Great place!

I loved the location and the evening wine reception. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Our room was small but well appointed. Room Service was prompt and the food was delicious.

Striking room decor (bright orange walls, chocolate-and-white striped headboard), but porcelain of sink was cracked, and doorknobs, faucets, and light switches weren't retro--they were old! Coffee maker was stashed in armoire, far from any electric plug.
