Alright if you're just staying over night

Overall the room wasn't bad...the problem we had was with the cleanliness of our particular room and the maid service in the morning. We were really surprised how expensive the rooms were in Dodge city, but it could have been due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Either way, we felt that the room was a little overpriced for the amenities. We checked in a little after midnight and when we were getting into bed, pulling the covers back, we noticed a few spots on the velour-like blanket. Appeared to be dried blood. We took the blanket off the bed and went to sleep because it was a little past 1am at that point. In the morning, long before check-out (about 9am), the maids started knocking and anouncing "housekeeping!" We had the safety lock on the door, but that did not seem to deter the maids from knocking 2 or 3 more times. When we checked out we notified the desk clerk about the blood on the blanket. She was unapologetic, but cordial and thanked us for informing them. Overall, as I said, it's fine if you're just staying overnight.
