For a Travelodge, this hotel, the San Francisco Central Travelodge, went beyond the brand name. It had nice and clean rooms, with amenities like a microwave, fridge, wireless Internet and coffee maker. The continental breakfast in the morning was good and the inexpensive parking was a plus ($10 a day - unheard of in SF). The service at the front desk was helpful and the surrounding clubs and restaurant made the nightlife active. This place comes highly recommended in my book!

The San Francisco Central Travelodge?s location gives the average tourist multiple looks of this diverse city. Union Square and AT&T Ball Park were only a trolley ride away. But, to get a less touristy look of the City, all I had to do was walk in the opposite direction to find the Castro and Mission neighborhoods. Location aside, the hotel was a great deal too. The staff was friendly. My room was clean. Parking was considerably cheaper in comparison to other hotels. The price was worth paying for because of the location, but the rooms and service did not disappoint.
