My friend and I , stayed 6 nights at the Poindexter Resort. The front desk clerk was very polite, the maids were very nice, whenever we requested anything, they were right there. We had an ocean front room, with a great view of the ocean, I laid in bed and watched the ocean, at night it was awesome, to hear the waves of the ocean. I am glad that I didn't pay much attention to the other reviews that were posted. I would've missed out on a wonderful time. I will be staying again next vacation. Can't wait.

At first I thought I was getting a deal when I booked this hotel. This was a last minute trip and we were only staying overnight. When I arrived I was very, very, very disappointed. False advertisment. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was horrible. The was walls looked as if it had mildew..the frig. was nasty...the bed mattress was worn and there was no parking available. This is one of the worst exoeriences I have had at the beach. I would not never stay here agian. The only thing that was good about this hotel was the personnel. They were very helpful and kind. Besides that this hotel has nothing going for itself.

a few friends and i wanted to go for a quick weekend to the beach. this hotel was very inexpensive and really worth the money for a couple of nights stay. the pools were nice and the hotel was right on the beach. we didn't spend much time in the room, basically only slept there. the rooms were clean and had a nice balcony with a view of the ocean. great deal for a little getaway!

Or on your senior trip, you should not stay here!!! The lobby had no A/C, and a few chairs were duct taped... that was nice. Also, what kind of hotels requires that you pay in cash, up front???? Dont most hotels require you to leave a credit card on file and charge you when you CHECK OUT!?!? The elevator was not only nasty dirty, but was in dire need of servicing! The hallway had worn, dirty carpet caked with sand. The rooms... well, lets just say that you shouldn't walk around the room without them unless you want black feet. We foundh dead bugs and hair all over the room. The bead spread was ripped and the kitchenette, well... the mini fridge was atleast operational. the bathroom was nasty and constantly leaked. The air conditioning had to be repaired, while we were staying there.... in July... The repairmen was not effective at doing this. I'm not sure what was going on with the building's exterior, but it was disgusting as well. NO PRIVACY. Just save yourself a bad review and dont do it!!!!!!!!!!!!
