On a tight budget

Well, this was the place I arrived at to stay until I found an apartment. The front lobby is the nicest part of the place. I figured since I needed a place to stay for a few weeks this place would suffice. It is very dirty, old and dingy. The only positive thing I can say as that they let me leave without any notice. Still, I looked at every other hotel in the area and they are all pretty much just as dirty

Yuch

I stayed here for the location; I wanted to be close to Riviera Village and the ocean with my family. I knew it would be modest, but I just couldn't warm up to the place. Yes, it does have an odor (especially in the hallways), and it feels like it's being run on the cheap. It has a great location, but management should do a large-scale re-do!

The elevators were broken, the rooms smelled, missing door knobs on the stairway door. The registration person was not friendly. Other employees were very nice and polite when we requested items for the rooms.

Nice place for price

This hotel is for the budget minded individual. The rooms are big, but in need of renovation. For the price, you can't beat the location, or the view. Rooms 3rd floor and above have a magnificant view of the ocean (all the way to Malibu). Rooms have big balconies and air conditioning. If you are looking for luxury, this is definitely not your place, but if you are looking to vacation on a budget, this is your place! It is within walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and bars and also to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Yuck!

Stayed here for one night and left as soon as I could to a different hotel, the next morning. The staff is terrible, the rooms are dark, small and overpriced. The street noise is loud.
