The Hotel Failed us, then Travel website Failed us

We booked a room, under the online travel website Guarantee with two beds. When we arrived there was only one bed. Called online travel website who couldn't do anything for us. online travel website lied to us about trying to get a room in a different hotel and were totally unresponsive. Staff tried to accomodate us by putting two rollaways in the room, one of which blocked the bathroom. Last straw was listening to the staff in the morning discuss with a resident about an armed break-in at the hotel that had occured recently. Wil never stay at this hotel again and for sure will never use online travel website to book a room again.
Nice affordable inn.

fire hazard

The room smelled like a wet dog, The only way to kill the smell was to run the A/C unit, which started to smoke and would have caught fire if it wasn't shut off. Had it been at night the entire hotel would have gone up in flames (no sprinkler system). We checked out that afternoon and were CHARGED THE FULL RATE, No discount, NO APOLOGY. Wouldn't stay here again EVER.

I was treated very well by a very friendly and helpful staff, beds were very comfortable, rooms very clean even though the place is a little old. I will definitely return to this hotel next year for the Marathon

This place is old and has seen better years. The rooms are not that clean and have a dirty feel. If you are on a tight busget and just need a place to crash this might be ok but i dont think you should take the kids with you.
