"Great location, great hotel"

We found the La Quinta Manhattan to be a great hotel with friendly helpful staff and a super breakfast. We had a room viewing the Empire State Building and there's a bar on the LQM rooftop For LQM to be two blocks from Penn Station makes it even better! We flew into Newark, took the Metro ($14) to Penn Station, walked to Theatre District and landed cancellation tickets, & took the LIRR to JFK from Penn the next day ($10). Ditto on the return flight. We will choose LQM again!

We were in the city for the weekend. The location of this Hotel is excellant as far as shopping, dining and subway access. The room was nice and clean. We had problems with our heat that was not resolved before we left. The front desk staff was very nice and allowed us to check-in 2 hours earlier than their stated check-in time. The hotel support staff were very nice as well. I would return to this hotel.
