About 3 Smiley Faces too Many!

My husband and I went for an overnight get-away and WOW! Were we disappointed! We had stayed here before and it was a quiet, friendly atmosphere. When we arrived, we were greated warmly and the room itself was okay. There was a little mold in the bathroom and some dirty tissues under the bed. No biggie. We could live with that. That is until the hour hit about 11 PM. There was partying and arguing going on in the hallway until about 4 AM! It was then that everyone quieted down and went to bed. By that point, we were packed and ready to go. We sat in bed, dressed, watching tv thinking that maybe if we wait long enough, management will put out breakfast. You know, the one they boast about for their travelers? Stale danish and coffee. We were shocked! Last year, they had waffles and bagels and fresh fruit plus cereal and all kinds of juice. Not now. I'm not sure what happened but we will never stay here again. If you want to stay on the Boardwalk near the action, then stay here, but if you are looking for a quiet, enjoyable time, pay the extra.

Great place to stay

Location between the Tropicana and Ocean Towers is ideal for us. Basically close to the end of the strip so, while you still have everything close by, it is not as crowded and morning walks along the beach or boardwalk to Ventnor are beautiful. The hotel itself is clean, well run, with a friendly staff and management. Actually our original plans were to stay at the Tropicana, where we'd been several times and which was right next door. On a whim, we took a look at the Days Inn and found the price half that of the Trop with a lovely room and balcony with an ocean view. So...we stayed at Days and ate and played at the Trop. Great choice!

Our stay at the Days Inn was great. The hotel is 1 block from the boardwalk and is very close to Bally's Casino. The staff was pleasant, check in went smoothly and the room was very clean. It is an affordable place to stay when you are unable to stay at the casino hotels. The hotel also offered a light breakfast. I recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.
