Description: First of all, the staff was super-friendly and helpful. But for the most part, that's where it ends. If you are looking for a cheaper hotel, this is okay. Here's why...
We arrived around 1am, only to park outback and have a homeless person circle our car looking for change. We ran into the hotel back door, only to find it open, even though it was supposed to be accessible by key card. Our room was nonsmoking. As soon as we entered, it seemed like the nonsmoking portion only applied to our use. There was a very strong sense of smoke immediately. The hallways were stinky, too. It didn't help there were automatic air fresheners that you'd find in a public bathroom trying to mask the odd smells. The next morning we woke to find that the power went out. There was a power failure along our block. Since there is one window at an angle, not much light came in so we could even shower. Later on that weekend, our key cards did not work into our room since they were not programmed for our second night.
There is an indoor pool, two restaurants, and a fitness center. The pool looked a bit dirty, the restaurants were open at odd hours of the day, and the fitness center was small but decent.
If you are looking to save a bargain, then feel free to stay here. Otherwise, you may want to "splurge" and look closer to Toronto.
