Oldie but goodie!

We have stayed at this hotel approx. 5 times over the last 10 years & its been great everytime. The rooms are so comfortable & most have a awesome views. We have 3 small boys who love the pool & the connected ESPN Zone. The location is perfect for going to Lodo or catching a baseballl game without driving. They accept pets which is a bonus for us. The only bummer is the parking- we always have to park in the public parking because all the downtown underground garages have low ceilings ( too low for a luggage carrier to clear). However, we have never had any security issues with parking outside. Another kudos was that I lost an earring & emailed the management when I got home who forwarded it to the Housekeeping manager who immediatedly called & confirmed it was mine & mailed it to me ! We will stay here again for sure ! Great for kids, pets & people who like to be near downtown!

The hotel was fabulous! room service was great, rooms were good! Dining and surrounding area was expensive. This is a shopping district with many bars, not good for kids in the evenings on weekends, all adults though you would have a good time!

A little pricey for the rooms but the location made up for it. Great place to stay if you're going to a game or playing on the 16th street mall. Starbucks delivers to the room.

We stayed here when we was in the area and the boys & Dad went to a Rockies game--which is walking distance, and me and my daughter spend the night doing some shopping on 16th street. A must do... Rooms have a great view, didn't eat at the Westin, but plenty of choices in the area we ate at ESPN Zone and the kids loved it. Would stay there again

Westin Tabor Center

The Westin Tabor Center fit all my needs perfectly: centrally located, with great restaurants and nightlife, including the pedestrian-friendly 16th Street Mall, within walking distance. We were in town for a concert at the nearby Pepsi Center, which was only a few blocks away. Plus, I love all Starwoods hotels and try to always stay in them if I can. I used my government ID to get us a $119/night rate, which was a great deal for that part of town.

The hotel was renovated in 2004, and it is beautiful and modern, done in neutral colors. Our room was on a top floor, with a breathtaking view of the clock tower and Rocky Mountains in the distance. A large bay window filled the wall, so our view could be seen from anywhere in the spacious room. We had a chaise lounge and plush chair near the window, a large king-size bed, a desk, and a small bar area with a small fridge. The bed, pillows, towels, and toiletries were all from Westin's own line of Heavenly products, which are well deserving of the name.

The modern lobby of the hotel features three award-winning restaurants and a Starbuck's kiosk, and upstairs is a trendy bar scene (often filled with hotel guests).

The hotel is located in the business district of Denver, but don't expect it to be very crowded, even at lunchtime. We were there during the week and were surprised at the lack of people near the hotel!

The concierge was extremely helpful in drawing us maps and giving advice on restaurants nearby for breakfast.

Self-parking was $20/day. Valet is also available. Cabs were available most of the time in front of the hotel.
