A dangerous neighborhood, rickety elevator, and our "Deluxe Kingsize bed" barely fit into the room - there was only one to get out of bed on one side of the bed! And the "view" was of an the back alley. My wife said she felt like were camping.
Great Location !!! older smaller hotel

the rooms are small, the hotel is old, but it is very charming. So much to do in SF that you will (should) not spend much time in the hotel. The heat did not work and the rooms on the front of the hotel get more street noise.
The f train comes right by the hotel with a stop out front. Cant beat that!!!!
If you are a stay in the hotel type traveler dont stay here, if you are an explorer and want to feel the city, this a good place
Just skip this one except if . . .

I think it is one of the best value I got, I travel a lot on business and this is the best value for the money. The Hotel is vey well located close to my convention at the moscone center. The staff was very helpful, the room I had was clean, quiet and confortable I even had a jaccuzi tub.
I will recomand this hotel for the business man who does not want to spend a lot of money but still gets all the confort.
Simple and Very good value.

Very good value. Friendly staff that wanted me to be comfortable and happy. The rooms were a little small, but clean, well appointed, and perfect for my needs. This is not a luxury hotel but a place for a good nights sleep where I didn't have to pay for all the extras that I didn't want anyway. There is no resturant but there is always free coffee available. There are a number of places to eat that you can walk to in just a few minutes. It's also centrally located with public transportation just across the street. I would stay here again.
