room size is nice, everything works in the room, pillow is very unconfortable, they clean the room, but they don't change sheet, I don't know how ofter they will change it, bath room is nice and big, entrance door on each building is open, even they have key lock on the side, but the entry door don't even have a lock, you will get menu from local pizze place under your door once a while, location is great, room is big , hotel need to remodle the outside, each room has refrigerator and micowave, price was great, and the room don't smell, breakfast room is so small, you can not even find any place to seat, they also sell hot breakfast for 3 or 4 dollars, but you can get a breakfast buffet close by for under 4 dollars anyway, I will stay here again, room is nice and clean, I got to live on the 5th floor, is very quiet.
Lost my prepaid reservation - Pool is freezing cold

I made a prepaid reservation, so far in advance that I had already paid off the credit card. When we arrived, late (than you), the clerk at the desk, who barely spoke English informed me that she had no record of my reservation. I showed her the print-out I had from travel agency. SHe said, sorry, no reservation. I then called travel agency where the person I spoke to also told me they had no reservation, then hung up on me, thus ensuring I will never use travel agency again. At this point I suggested to the Desk Clerk we call the local police department. Suddenly she had a room for me. In the meantime I called travel agency again and miraculously the person I spoke to this time found my reservation and faxed a copy to the hotel. The Royal Celebration seems to be a favorite with foreign families. It was OK, bu the pool was freezing cold, the elevator worked on and off and there was no way they could have overcome losing my reservation. There are too many better options in the area to tolerate a lousy experience.

Not nice. sink dripped, toilet ran, shower fixture loose/broke, fridge rattled (I unplugged) Coffee maker leaked... tried fixing and found DIRT in the water tank. Called desk for a new one but never got it. Sheets were clean but do not fit the bed. Flat sheet covers mattress and ends up in a ball by morning. From the glow of the TV I watched "Gecco" lizards run across the wall... harmless but creepy. Not worth the money. Sort of hand to locate due to sign not lit.

It was excellent. AAA gave it two diamonds, but it's better than that. The rooms are great, and there was even a free, little breakfast, scrambled eggs and waffles. It was not continental. I rate this one of the nicer places to stay in Branson. Not on the main strip so you don't have to get in line just to go to bed. Highly recommended.
