Wouldn't go back!

This hotel is in serious need of renovation, or at least a serious face-lift. The door to the room looked like it had taken a beating, the lamp shades were cock-eyed and severely dented, the curtains were frayed , the balcony of my non-smoking room was littered with cigarette butts; I could go on and on.
The only good thing was the staff - they were all very friendly and helpful. they just didn't have much to work with
It was OK

The hotel itself was nice but the standard rooms were very dumpy & also extremely cramped quarters, so if you stay here spend a little more to get the nice room. The pool was nice too, my 5yr old seemed to enjoy it alot.

Apparently they allow dogs at this hotel. Someone put their dog in their room (right next door to ours!) and they left. The dog yapped for 40 minutes. At 12:10 I went down to complain and since the people were not in their room, they made US change rooms in the middle of the night. I had a 10 hour drive the next day back to Indiana. I was not a happy person. If I am paying this much for a hotel room, I shouldn't have to worry about listening to a dog all night long.
Oh, and parking is an additional 18 dollars a night. Grr...

We traveled to Atlanta to see the Aquarium and Coca Cola. We like a hotel with an indoor pool for the kids. The pool was extremely pleasing to look at, but it is very cold. The retractable roof did not seal completely so the pool area is COLD. Room was acceptable-average size for a metro hotel. There are not too many restaurants for the family near the hotel, but there are many options if you walk to CNN. Be extra vigilant when checking in and out. We booked the hotel through a online travel website, so the room was paid in full. Sheraton charged us again upon checkout. After telling the front desk that the room was prepaid, the clerk assured us that he knew that. Three days later, back at home, our charge card was charged again for the room.
Watch your card statements. Also, our car was vandalized in the Sheraton parking lot-we think it was beaten with a hammer. We reported it immediately to the Sheraton security. They investigated and asked if we were sure it happened in their lot. Beware of parking there. Guard your car because Sheraton will not.

The hotel was nice and cute but the rooms were quite small. There is a bar and a late night deli that was convienient too. There is a little spirit store across the street that came in handy. The parking is 18 bucks a day for self parking which was a big mess necause when you came out to get back in the hotel you had to walk way across the street to get back in the hotel. The pool and the hot tub were ok... Better than ok cause we were the only ones in there.
