Every NY hotel in this price range is small- that's just NY, but the Franklin was spotless, charming in a 'deco meets french country' kind of way- very close to subway and close to museum mile. Very helpful staff and nice breakfast too. My 5yr old stayed with me for a week here and loved it. I'd definately choose it again.

Quiet, clean, well staffed, small but cozy place. Good breakfast, subway stop around the corner. Small but good plasma screen tv. Will stay again. Just as adverstised.

The Franklin is a charming historic hotel in a lovely neighborhood with great staff to make your stay a pleasant one. The rooms are all singles - with Queen or Full beds...not a King in the place. Small, yet first class breakfast, evening wine/cheese, and close to a great Italian restaurant. I will stay here again. Perfect for single travelers.
