This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Miami, 10 mins from Miami Beach, South Beach & Coral Gables. The hotel is very elegant looking and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. I stayed on the 28th floor of the hotel over looking the marina and Biscayne Bay. Bayside Marketplace is about 1.5 miles from the hotel which is filled with shops and restaurants. You can take a boat trip from there to view some of the most popular entertainers, such as Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez..etc. The hotel has a skywalk which is connected to The DoubleTree Grand Hotel next door and you can enjoy their restaurants, shops and lounges. Lots of activites and attractions are offered. fun things to do in South Florida. You have transportation such as the MetroRail I am definately planning to go back before the end of 2009! Boooking my flight and hotel with online travel website was a pleasure!

Stayed one night prior to a cruise on April 3, 2009. Our room was on the 23d floor and the views were beautiful. The room was spacious and clean with a very nice balcony. Also ate at the restaurant and expected high priced, mediocre food and service. As it turned out the food was fantastic and service superb albeit a bit pricey. There were shops downtstairs between the Marriot and Doubletree which had other dining options and merchandise. I would definitely stay there again. Self Parking was just under $20 a night. Very convenient to Port of Miami cruise terminal. The description and reviews made this choice perfect.
Marriott Biscayne

Earlier this year we had a cruise and decided to stay at Marriott Biscayne for another additional three nights afterward. The over all experience was excellent.
Since we've been a Marriott reward member for a long time, we've got enough points to redeem for the stay so didn't cost us anything for the room. Regular rates are about $250 and trust me, it's well worth it.
Check in was fast. We were told to come after three for a better room. The better room they told us became an ocean view with a balcony! It's facing the port where you can see all the cruise ship taking off which was amazing!
The room was very spacious and well designed. I loved the big desk and my hubby loved the 42" TV. lol
My favorite part was the trail size shampoo and lotion from bath & body works. Because I am fan!
What I thought was also very convenient was the little store/cafe right around the corner. You can get drinks and snack without step out of the mall. They even have a hot deli which serves huge portion of lunch packages.
All and all, loved it.

I am a Marriott rewards member, so I stay at a lot of Marriott hotels. The evening front desk staff was not the friendliest. Also the parking was very expensive. Room service was good, but the bar tender at the main lounge was a little lazy. I asked for a bottle of merlot to take back to my room with some appitizers that I purchased, and he said I would have to call room service. The day before I had purchased a bottle from the same bar. I knew he was being lazy, when you stay at a nicer hotel you expect a little more.
Awesome!

The hotel was in a perfect location. Walking distance to American Airlines Arena, taxi cost $16.00 to get to South Beach. The hotel is on the water looking out to South Beach. I would visit this hotel again.
