This motel is a old, run down and dirty. The rooms need to be updated. 1960 is over. I had a hard time finding this motel too because I was looking for a white motel, just like the photo. The photo on this webisite is not of the Foothills.

This hotel looks nothing like the picture on this website. It is old and worn. They call themselves extended stay. But I think it is only because they rent rooms by the week to homeless people. I guess it is what I would expect for * per night. If it looks to good to be ture...it probably is!

Fair to Middlin'

The place is old. It was fairly clean but dark. We had a non-smoking room but there was a peculiar air freshener smell. The air conditioner was noisy and the room got clammy during the night. The staff was hospitable. The breakfast was fair. The shower was terrible - the shower head had a piercing spray that actually hurt and you couldn't change it. The bed was very comfortable with no morning backache. If you're not fussy about where you stay, their price was good but next time, I'd rather spend a little more and have a nicer room and amenities. Their location was convenient but so were many newer, nicer hotels.

Biker Friendly

This hotel was very biker friendly, having all cleaning supplies needed and a spot to was the bikes. We spent the night during Sturgis Bike Week and were very happy to see the pool out front after riding in 90's for almost 7 hours! The room was very clean, but missing shampoo which was quickly fixed by the front desk clerk. The only draw back was the very week continental breakfast which consisted of 2 types of cold cereal, two loaves of bread, a few thawed out mini muffins and coffee and oj. A few bagels or some pastries and fresh fruit would have been a welcome addition. Oh they also let the Harley riders park under the awning by the front entrance, which was a great plus!

The hotel was clean and the linens were fresh. The room was tastfully decorated and the staff was kind.
