Quaint little place - Would not like to stuck inside all day rooms kind of small. Counter help needs help with english language very difficult to understand. Staff friendly price is great!
If are seeing Chicago sights and do not want to pay $$$$ this is the place to stay!
Parking is expensive if you drive into Chicago.

The hotel was clean. I stayed in a queen bed sized room. The room was really small. However in a great location in the heart of it all. The staff was really helpful, and kind.

This hotel is great if you are traveling on foot or public transport, like a taxi. No frills kind of place, no restaurant or room service. They to have a lobby bar and a place the serves sandwiches next door. This place is all about the location. Be sure to upgrade to the executive room if you want what you see in the pictures. Do not pack heavy space is at a premium small rooms and the bathroom might as well be a closet its so small and thats not just the room I had it was a 2 room suite, and it was still tiny. But again its all about the location, location, location.

My wife and I stayed at the In of Chicago over a Friday and Saturday night. You cannot beat the location or the price. It's a block off Michigan Ave/Magnificent mile. and an easy 4 blocks to the Metra Red line. We drove from Minneapolis and didn't need the car. It was very convenienct to I90 if you are driving as well. The hotel bar and lobby are very nice as was the staff. The rooms are small, but they work. If you're in town on a budget this is a great hotel. You're in the heart of downtown Chicago and you'll have money left over for some convenient shopping.

Front desk was rude every single time I spoke to them, from check-in to check-out. I had a faulty key that was replaced twice. I could hear all hall traffic clearly from inside the room. The hotel just did not seem to want to accommodate us, which should be a tenet of any hotel.
