Nice location, good price. Service not okay

The Club Quarters Location is prime, close to the Downtown Crosssing, State Street and Government Centre subway station. Accessible from the Airport through the blue line via State Street station. There are fast food restaurants and a 7-11 within a couple of blocks from there.
Now the bad part. I arrived in my room to find only one towel, so I called downstairs to get one. They said they would bring it up, but nothing happened through the night. There were also no soap in the bathroom and there is only a conditioning shampoo ie. no hair conditioner.
We were given a room facing the bright lights of the next door building and could not sleep unless we closed the blinds.
I would stay there again given the price and the location, but you have to do without some ammenities you expect from a 3 star hotel.
Hotel worth staying at but staff service was disappointing

Firstly, travelagent made recommendation of this hotel, which was excellent, 4-star at better value than what I expected. Overall, the hotel is clean, and business quality.
2 people family. Upon arrival (Thanskgiving day), the front desk person gave unsatisfactory check-in information (i.e. she failed to inform us of $50 incidental fee, and the effect on a debit card). Also, at fault of travelagent awkward Indian-based customer service, the room had the wrong bed arrangements, single bed instead of two); but the hotel made change for us no problem. ... Later, we tried to order food from the room, unknowing that there was no room service available Thanksgiving-day, and were charged for local phone calls to local restaurants. (I assume the local charges are standard practice, but this was not clear w/ the info. included in the room).
The hotel room itself is good, good design of closet, bathroom, and business-style includes desk, lounge chair, and coffee/tea maker. There is a water machine that dispenses bottled water, free! Fitness room is small, only a few machines, but comfortable.
The next day, a different female day staff was very snappy with us, not very helpful. She put blame on the previous staff regarding the incidentalf fee, etc.; instead of being professional.
There is a restaurant on site that is so good, it's large, friendly, and attracts people from the surrounding area.
Lastly, I learned the lesson that you never bill hotel room with a debit card because time delay in having the incidental fee credited back to the account. I had to call the hotel several times back and forth and also speak w/ a rep. from my bank, in order to have them credit incidental fee back to my bank account.
Great bargain slumber

If you don't need a lot of space, this is the perfect place to stay in Boston. Located walking distance from the T, the Common and North End, clean and cozy, with a great price. Easy cab ride to and from the airport.
