A Train! A Train! A Train! A Train!

The hotel was okay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Having Free wireless internet throughout the hotel was great. My room faced some railroad tracks and all nigt trains were going by sometimes shaking the room. The pillows were very uncomfortable (like every hotel). There were some good restaurants nearby and if you like to shop there was also a good outdoor mall. I am glad I was only there one night because I didn't sleep well mainly because of the trains. If you stay there make sure your room is on the front end of the hotel so you don't have to deal with the trains.

The bed + pillows were very comfy! Stayed for two days to drop my son and his things off for college... Free parking was great, we hopped on the BART and toured San Francisco by foot. Walked around Berkeley. The hotel has a cafe, bar, room service... and offers a brunch at an additional charge. There are many stores and shops (even a mall) in walking distance. Trader Joe's across the street was great for snacks. Denny's and a small cafe also across the street for breakfast if you don't want to pay 13.95 for the hotels buffet (not cooked to order) Overall this hotel was an excellent find, and a great value price. I will stay again for sure! Free internet available in the lobby on two computers.

My husband and I spent 5 nights here over Christmas; we were overflow from the family crowd staying at my parents's home in N. Oakland for a holiday reunion. We loved being right near Trader Joe's, Borders, and the various shopping areas Centered in and around Emeryville, made last minute shopping a breeze. Very friendly check-in staff the night we arrived! I'd stay here again, no problem.

Very good location (NEAR BART, Bay Bridge, Berkeley, Emeryville shopping). Nice friendly staff who were very accomodating. It was a little hard to find using current website map directions - the directions need updating. Overall: A recommended place!
