Don't stay here!!!!

When I walked up to the front desk to check in, the guy was rude and cussing. There was another customer waiting to get checked in. He was complaining about not having time to eat because of that "b****." He told one of the other employees to go see what she needed now.
The room we reserved was "non-smoking." As soon as we walked thru the door, it smelled of cigarete smoke. The sheets and towels were dingy. ( I guess they don't know that Clorox was invented.) Check out time was 11am. We had housekeeping knocking at our door at 945am. And returned every 30 minutes to see if we were out. We felt rushed. The hairdryer did not work. Upon checking out, there was no one at the front desk. There was a sign stating they would be back in 5 minutes, I then proceeded to write a note. The same guy from the day before came in and asked what I was doing. I told him I was writing a check out note. He said" Why? Didn't you see the sign that said that I would be back in 5 minutes? I was very disgusted and offended. Never Again will I stay here. If you have to stay in your car or in one of these rooms, choose your car!!!

This truly was a "Good buy" from travel website. I had a great room that was very clean, close to my meeting place, close to good eating places, frinedly staff. I felt very safe and got a good night's rest. Had a good, free continental breakfast. I highly recommend this motel.

the deskclerk told us it would still be awhile before the rooms would be ready, we told him we had a wedding to get ready for in a couple of hours and the deskclerk seen my husband was on a walking cane and needed to rest so he went and found out if the rooms were ready and the maid had seen there was reservations for these rooms so she had cleaned them first so we were able to get on into our rooms. The room was very clean, the towels were thin ,Even though the motel is on a busy street we could not hear the traffic and the bed slept real good. We would stay here again.

My Experience

Even though the staff was friendly, they could not make up for the structural short commings. There was no alarm clock in the room. The light paint areas made it evident pictures had been removed from the walls with no attempt to re-paint. The breakfast featured old, hard scrambled eggs, a few sausage biscuits and burnt bacon. Overall a rather shabby motel.
