More like motel than boutique

This is a very expensive area, so the price was on the cheaper end at $300/night. Positives: lobby, restaurant, and staff were great. Fantastic location. Negatives: the rooms were like motel rooms painted with nicer colors. The shower head came up to my chest! They definitely need to upgrade the quality of the hallways and rooms.
I expected more

This hotel was ranked 3.5 stars, and is really more like a 2 star. Air not cold, missing items in guest rooms (ice bucket, tub stopper, internet connection) I have been here twice, not a third. Overall, a decent place, but the little details add up to unsatisfactory!
