Best Things Nearby:
On site are three great restaurants: Steak & Sticks (serving steak, chops, seafood, and grilled specialties), Joey Bistro (serving Italian food), and On The Rocks Bar and Grill (serving burgers, Jack Daniels ribs, fresh salads, sandwiches, and JOEY wood fired pizza). By using your room charge card, you will get a 15% discount. They have a world renowned spa on site, but we did not use it. Tlaquepaque Art Village is next door and has numerous upscale shops and restaurants. Sedona center is a 15 minute walk from Los Abrigados. Or you can take a trolley with discount tokens available at the lobby.

Best Things About the Resort:
The heated swimming pool is laid out great, plenty of lounges, towels are supplied at the pool. A bar at the pool has a daily drink special and you can also order lunch from the bar. Close to downtown Sedona. The ground are well kept.

Resort Experience:
We were in a one-bedroom unit on the second floor. The unit was large, with a mini kitchen that was adequate if you like to eat out. The bedroom has a king-size bed with 27" TV. The living room has a dining area, sleep sofa, TV/VCR, and CD stereo player. The Jerome Suites have a Jacuzzi on the deck. Coin-operated washers and dryers are on site in a separate building that has a TV and is air-conditioned.

Sedona Sports across the street has all your hiking/adventure necessities. Ravenheart Coffee will satisfy the caffeine and smoothie lovers.

Best Things About the Resort:
The on-site restarants, Joey's Bistro was our favorite. Delicious Italian food, fun atmosphere, great food after a long day of hiking. We did most of our exercising on the trails, but they have a very nice fitness facility. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi to relax tired muscles. There is also a cute shopping village at the entrance to the resort. The Garden Cafe is recommended for lunch!

Resort Experience:
Timeshares are mostly a base camp for us as we generally spend a lot of time exploring outdoors; however, this is a place of beauty and relaxation and I wish I had more time to sit and enjoy the view. Our one-bedroom was perfect and the fact that they didn't have a full kitchen did not turn out to be a problem. The small refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven met all our needs. Very relaxing atmosphere and beautiful grounds. Everything you need is there or within walking distance.

Best Things Nearby:
The Sedona area is beautiful beyond description. We enjoyed several tours with the Blue Feather Tour company. It is owned by a woman and we liked her low key, small group approach. We located a great place where the locals go to eat. It is a small cafe immediately behind the McDonald's.

Best Things About the Resort:
Location, location, location. Central to much within walking distance. The Spa, with the whirlpools available both the women's and men's locker rooms, the wonderful outdoor heated pool and whirlpool, and the excellent staff of massage therapists can't be beat.

Resort Experience:
Because it is an older timeshare they are in the process of refurbishing the units. Ours had not been completed but was still very nicely furnished. We were not pleased with the initial appearance of the unit because the housekeeping staff had missed several things. However, when we called to request cleanning it was done immediately and very courteously.

The resort has three wonderful restaurants, the food was great, and we found the bar and grill food to be priced quite reasonably. The other two were great but the portions were very large and we would have prefered splitting our dinners without the extra cost.

Almost everything you could want is on site! But you are close to the Y as well as right on the creek. You can walk to Talapaque and enjoy the shops and restaurants or catch the many tours from there!

Best Things About the Resort:
Location and the Sedona Spa!!! There is the spa, 2 pools,a workout room, tennis courts, miniature golf, children's play area as well as the creek right there! You are also right across the parking lot from Talapaque.

Resort Experience:
The unit was the 1 bedroom Sedona. We had a mini kitchen that was ok but I would think a resort of this type would have full kitchens and spa as well as a small fireplace.

With that said, it is so quiet here that at night we would sit in the hot tub and watch the stars...

There are many activities and I hear in the summer they also have a great kid's program.

Tlaquepaque arts centre, with its beautiful courtyards and shops, and the excellent food and beer at the microbrewery (no surprise that the owners came from Bavaria). The resort reception staff will happily arrange for the local tour bus to drop by and show you the area - a two hour tour that is WELL worth the effort as you get to find out so much and visit places you would otherwise probably miss. They can also arrange the 4-wheel drive jeep tours into the wilder areas (including tours to visit pueblos). While I would hesitate to go on ANOTHER tinmeshare tour, the one here is VERY early in the morning, VERY short, and for going you get a free ticket for a jeep tour for two people ... so we went.

Best Things About the Resort:
Location - actually able to go places in town ON FOOT and not need to drive. The resort is at the place called the "Y" where much of the town has developed (the rest is about 1.5 miles away, needing a short trip by car). Finding the resort is not easy at first - signing on the road is limited, especially if you are coming from the south (from Phoenix). The directions provided helped little. The resort has a superb spa and excellent activities which many people praised highly, and prices were quite reasonable for many of these. Resort staff were good, very friendly and helpful, if apologetic about the units and some facilities. Sedona has grown fast but is now nearing the limits of the area available. There are glimpses of the original shape of things her e and there, and much of the newer development is very sympathetic to the originals.

Resort Experience:
Sadly, the resort is not great. Yes, the location is outstanding, but the units are dark and under-equipped (to call the cooking facilities a "mini-kitchen" is to exaggerate), the pool was small and the adjoining whirlpool bath FOR THE WHOLE RESORT was not much bigger than one we had in a unit we exchanged into in Florida. The poolside bar staff were friendly but this cannot cover for the fact that the pool could be 5 or 6 times the size and STILL too small! Overall, a great resort to stay in as a base, NOT one to really enjoy for itself, and one week here is ample. The other resorts in the area are ALL superb, we were told, many with spectacular locations and facilities, but people had to drive to get ameal offsite or go shopping - so as ever, you pays your money (or exchange week, or points) and takes your choice!
