Los Abrigados is very nice. They have a small pool, outdoor pool, restaurants, etc. The spa was really incredible. My mom and I treated ourselves to facials, hot rock massage, and regular massage. The on-site restaurants are really good, as well as convenient. There was a tour desk that was very helpful to us.

Resort Experience:
Rooms were nice - they were supplied with spa products and the view was amazing. The kitchen in the one-bedroom was only fridge and microwave - but they had excellent dining right on the grounds. They had excellent pools and activies for the kids - it was great for all.

Best Things About the Resort:
Three 5-star places to eat - Steaks 'n Sticks, Joey's Bistro and Sports Bar - with great food. Lovely & comfortable accommodations including kitchenettes. Centrally located. Full exercise club, spa (spa products are wonderful) and pool.

Resort Experience:
We went to Sedona and to Los Abrigados last January not knowing what to expect, seeing that this was the New Age capital of the US. It was awesome! The scenery just takes your breath away. Sedona is nestled in the centre of Red Rock country When you drive into it, all of a sudden the grey-white rocks give way to these beautiful red, red rocks. They are all around and each of the outcroppings seem to have a name - Snoopy, Cathedral Rock, Chapel Rock are the more famous. I had an experience like no other at Chapel Rock which defies words!

The resort is beautiful and our accommodations, although a little outdated, were very comfortable for the little time we spent in our room. There is a full service spa, exercise room, and heated pool for even the colder days in winter. We had one day in January that was over 80! We loved the trip so much we knew we wanted to come back again and again.

So in November, 2003 we went back to Sedona and Los Abrigados taking my in-laws with us for a well needed vacation! Our experience was just as over-whelming as our previous one in January and my in-laws just loved it too!! We took them to all the special spots we had been and at Chapel Rock, quite unexpectedly, I again had the same awe inspiring experience. We managed a trip to the Grand Canyon which was too wonderful for words. The colours, the size, the majesty just left us speechless, but I managed to take lots of pictures!

Again we had the same comfortable accommodations at Los Abrigados and had wonderful meals in each of their three restaurants. The trip was one we will talk about for years. Or at least until we go back again, which we have decided on already for next year. Care to join us?

Best Things About the Resort:
Wonderful location, beautiful grounds, very well kept--a top notch resort.

Resort Experience:
The "kitchen" is definitely the bare minimum. It has a toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge. . .enough to make do. The resort has three very nice restaurants with a good price range. Towels are replaced on a daily basis and full maid service is done mid-week.
