I have traveled to Chicago numerous times and stayed at many hotels but The Avenue is the best by far. I booked two junior suites which turned out to be even more beautiful than the photos, lots of space and the view was incredible from the 30th floor. The rooftop pool was beautiful although it was a bit too chilly to try it out. The front desk staff was kind, extremely helpful and made us feel right at home. There was a cozy little fire place in the lobby and lots of comfortable seating. The location was perfect for roaming around downtown and visiting all of the stores. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant so I cannot comment on that. However, if it is anything like the rest of our stay I'm sure you won't be dissapointed. I will definitely stay here again. The only downside was the wait time for our car, you have to valet and it could have been that we just didn't time it right but we did have to wait about 15 minutes for them to bring the car around, but hey it's Chicago so we did lots of people watching while we waited so it wasn't that bad.

Our experience at the Radisson was wonderful. Went to Chicago with little experience of the city for a concert and couldn't have been happier. It is in a wonderful location for shopping on Michigan Ave., and taking a taxi to attractions never cost more than $15, CTA stations were only a few blocks away also. Staff was courteous and more than willing to help you with whatever you needed. Elevators were a little slow, but renovations are currently going on and may be the culprit for that. This will without a doubt be the hotel we stay at for our next visit to Chicago.

We booked this hotel on short notice. We liked everything about the hotel itself and the rates were good. Nicely located withing walking distance of many sights as well as public transportation.

I had an unexpected trip. Booked the hotel 5 hrs. before arrival. I arrived at 2 am. The front desk could not find my reservations and promptly called online travel web site 800 number for me. My room was verified quickly. The front desk clerk then upgraded me to a suite at no extra charge. Everything about the stay was delightful. Each person I came in contact with was professional and courteous. The hotel was within walking distance to everything, I was able to leave my car with the valet and walk.Great experience.

Stayed at the radison only because chicago was pretty much booked when we went. This is not a 3 star hotel. Have stayed at 10 different hotels in chicago and this was the worst one. The rooms are out of the 1960s including the bed and bathroom. The walls are paper thin.
