Me and my family stayed at the Westin Febuary 4th thru 6th-2009.This was a good stay the staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel was quiet and clean,we liked it because it was a welcome change from the congestion of the strip, which was within walking distance.
Excellant!!

Great stay, staff very helpful and friendly. Food was good ,atmosphere good. Casino small but nice assortment of slot machines. Beds are a dream. Rooms very nice. Was glad there was no smoking.
And they accept pets.
You can walk to Bills in a few minutes.
Very nice - comfortable bed!

The Westin is a very nice off the strip hotel. The lobby/casino could use some updating. The only problem I encountered as a woman traveling alone was the walk tothestrip. While it is not too long of a distance, you have to go by an large empty lot and then a less desirable area where you feel vulnerable. I took a taxi back at night to avoid this.

We made the reservations at this hotel the same morning as we were arriving. We got to the hotel within 5 hours of booking, and they were very kind.
The staff is very courteous--and helpful.
The room was very nice--but man, was the hallways ever COLD. I guess they figure the Las Vegas weather is going to be hot all year long? It was the day after Thanksgiving, and it had been raining...
The carpets were filthy in the hallway we were in. VERY dirty. But, I noticed that dogs are allowed in the hotel and figured maybe that was the reason? Either way, the place smelled clean.
I would stay here again. A little far to walk to the strip--but it is doable. Staff was courteous and offered us help in where we were going.
Never again

It is beyond me why the dealers and pit boss were so rude to the customers. Dealers rolled their eyes, looked at one another with "that look." I stopped gambling there even though we were there for 3 nights. This place will close down. It is dark and very unfriendly. The service in the dining room was also very slow. It took a very long time to get a drink with our meal. And no one seemed interested in helping us.
