Great, super comfortable beds, first class hotel just off the strip. This is a great option for those looking to avoid rates associated with hotels on the strip. The Westin is located about 2 blocks east of Bally's on Flamingo. If you are ok with an additional walk to the strip, this is a great option. The hotel has a modest casino and of course, as a regular traveler i have to say there isn't another hotel with a more comfortable bed than the Westin.

I stayed 2 nights at the Westin Casuarina about 1 block of the main strip and accros from Bally's. I expected more of a traditional hotel Westin experience. Generally, I have be pleased with their properties in the past. I couldn't have been more wrong. The hotel structure probably goes back many, many years and it appears Westin did a facelift to meet their standards at some point. The rooms are signiifcantly dated and worn. Even the ceramic finish on the tub was worn to the cast iron.
In my opinion , this property is way over rated and over priced for its comparative quality.
If you want a worn and dated room at a price that reflects conditions, stay at Bally's or Harrah's.

This hotel is nice because you don't have smell like an ashtray. I know Vegas is full of gambling, drinks & SMOKE. So its so nice to get away from that a little.
I did use the fitness center & loved it. They have towels for your use and water accessible.
I also got a massage while there and I really enjoyed the spa. My friends and I had such a relaxing time.
This is a wonderful hotel to stay in and I will come again. It is across the street from Ballys on the same side as Barbary Coast. Most of strip is in easy walking distance..
The BEST hotel deal, ever!

A wonderful surprise! Good Hotel at a GREAT price. We have paid a lot more for a lot less. Staff was friendly and the room was immaculent. The windows were cloudy from exposure, but there isn't a lot to view out of them. The casino is quieter than others and we were confused as to if were were in Buffalo Bills or Terrible's Hotel. A perfect stop on the long ride from California after work. Even factoring the extra gas into Vegas, it was still the best deal we have ever gotten on a room. Already planning on staying there on our next trip to Vegas!
Wonderful

I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Las Vegas for business. It is close to the strip but miles away from distractions. I love the Westin brand...the beds, showers, & ammenities are truly "heavenly". The staff was professional and great to work with.
