Not only the customer service at the front desk was the worst I ...Read more If anyone ever asked me for the rating of Melia Kuala Lumpur, I would give it a zero rating due to many unpleasant experiences that I encountered during my recent stay at this hotel. Not only the customer service at the front desk was the worst I had ever experienced, the security of the hotel is questionable. One of my belongings at the hotel was missing after a daily clean-up , the way the hotel handled missing item was very unprofessional, they were not proactive in letting me know the status of the search, instead I had to ask the front desk daily for it. Worse, they (referring to the front desk staff) even showed unpleasant attitude in answering my request , let alone following-up on my case. Furthermore, the key card was not working most of time at the elevator and in my assigned room..I saw many of the hotel guests had the same problem, a couple told me that they had been going up and down the same elevator for quite some time. Once, I was at the elevator for half an hour trying to scan the key card but to no avail...had to finally ask the front desk to reprogram the key card. Also, the bathroom was not clean at all, hair dryer stopped working the first day I stayed there, drainage on the bath tub was poor, and TV in my room continuously stopped working despite repeated repairs :-( . Frustrated by the many unpleasant incidents, I politely asked the front desk to have a room change since I'd be staying at the hotel for quite some time (close to 3 weeks), I was shocked to hear the only response from the front desk staff was "all the hotel rooms are booked". He was unapologetic on my unpleasant experiences and did not even show any interest in accommodating my request. I wanted to terminate my hotel stay at Melia immediately; unfortunately, my reservation was non-cancel-able and non-refundable. What a drag!!!! If I were to visit Malaysia again, I would never consider Melia Kuala Lumpur anymore. If you are reading this review, I strongly recommend that you take my review seriously. What an unpleasant stay at this hotel !!!!! Close

Check-in was very slow. We waited for about 30 minutes and there wasn't any apologies. We have two rooms, one of the rooms is slightly larger but with CRT TV. Another is smaller, with LCD TV. Why not have both LCD tv?? Only good reason to rent is ...Read more
