Thsi hotel was a real treat.Clean,clean,cleam. Great staff.Great location.I would stay again.

Well worth the money. Subway nearby and a safe location. Clean rooms. The "internet" consisted of one computer in the lobby that was busy most of the time. Other than that we would stay there again! Great location and price!

Air conditioner in room ran constantly and was loud

My daughter and I were in New York May 13-19 to watch the Yankees play ball and to do some sight seening We stayed at the Avalon Hotel and were very pleased with the room, it was clean and we had plently of room. The staff was great. We enjoyed the location of the hotel, being within walking distant to Empire State Building as well as other sites that we wanted to visit. We would diffidently stay there again.

I really enjoyed this hotel. On arrival, there was construction outside and I wasn't impressed. Upon entering, everything was beautiful. I arrived with a group, and everyone didn't get checked in right away but they were pleased once they were settled in their rooms. Also, the breakfast was awesome. I was thinking "continental" breakfast, but this was more than a continental breakfast.
