Well we were a little concerned after seeing some of the reviews but the place was clean and the staff was nice. They had wireless internet a nice garden/pool area. You get what you pay for this is not a 5 star hotel but it was a comfortable place to spend a night.
Why all the bad reviews???

My husband and I have stayed here several times. We love it. They rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. It is located in a nice area. It isn't a 5 star hotel, but it is affordable and better than the other cheep hotels.

This is your basic highway hotel. The rates are really good during the week. The rooms are decent but nothing fancy. If you want a good deal on a hotel on San Luis Obispo this is the place t stay.
Great Motel for the price

I am of the opinion that this is a great motel. It is in a good area. It is neare the 101 Fwy, but there is very little noise. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and I felt safe. This is by far the most affordable motel in San Luis Obispo. For the cleanness and comfort, you will not find a motel within even 50% of its price (higher or lower... well, nothing else will be lower). There is a nice diner adjacent to this motel. The portions of food are so big that you should order one meal for 2 people. All in all, you CANNOT beat this motel for the price. Plus, you're only a 3 minute drive or taxi ride into Old Town San Luis Obispo. THIS IS A GREAT MOTEL. I think that many people pay a low price and expect the Waldorf Astoria. This is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. However, with free wireless internet, clean rooms and great service, it should meet everyone's needs!!!

halls smelled of disinfectant, carpets worn and dated, no elevator, swimming pool wouldnt touch, tried to stay 1 night after booking for 2 nights, at checkin the manager wouldnt let us cancel 2nd night, i guess they ned the money,better hotels next door motel 6 and best western, room mediocre, not much to brag bout, never coming back here, kon tikki much better in pismo
