Amazing and Unforgettable Honeymoon

My husband and I spent one full week at this amazing resort for our honeymoon. The staff treated us as royalty by calling us Mr & Mrs + our last name. We packed our week with a lot of activitites and regret not spending enough time at the resort's pool and other amenities. We truly felt like every penny was worth the spend. We are so going to come back here soon. Try to find deals that include daily breakfast...
spa with no spa

The hotel is called the Grand Hyatt Resort and Spa but the spa was extremely disappointing. The men's locker room was small and cramped and the spa and sauna were broken during my entire stay. I expect food and beverage service to be expensive at a nice hotel but after adding Hawaii tax, resort fees, added gratuity and delivery fees the prices were ridiculous. The restuarants at the hotel were basically empty during our stay as guests found better deals, food and service in town. Location of hotel and the grounds were beautiful.

My husband and I spent 6 days (we were originally only supposed to spend 5!) days at this truly amazing resort. Spa is beyond compare, breakfast buffet was fantastic, service and grounds impeccable. We talk about our stay at the Grand Hyatt Kauai all the time - we can't wait to go back!!!
An amazing place with a few rough edges

This place is truly amazing & luxurious. There *are* some rough edges though: very poor waitstaff, overpriced drinks, and a not-always-competent support staff (the concierges don't know how far it is to walk to town, where onsite you can get a coffee, etc.). Most of it is excellent though, and the overall hotel staff is very good, the views spectacular (the full ocean view is amazing), the pool (all five levels of it!) is outstanding. And Kauai is by far the nicest for traffic, pace of life, etc. and I would definitely go back.

My wife and I don't get to travel as much as we want to but a friend of ours told us about the Grand Hyatt, so we saved for about a year. The staff treated us so well, the food was wonderful I did nothing but lay on the beach and sleep in this little cabana that you could rent for the day, Over all I had the best vacation ever.
