Fabulous Resort, Friendly Staff, and Great Location

We absolutely fell in love with the island and this resort when we were there for our wedding anniversary. The staff was always friendly and accommodating to our needs, and the grounds were very nice and well-kept.
Our room was pretty spacious considering it was just the two of us, and we had a lovely view of the ocean from our lanai. Food and drink was good, but pricey as some others have mentioned, but we sort of expected that.
The pools were very nice and probably our favorite part of the resort. We spent many afternoons and evenings in the saltwater lagoon, pools and Jacuzzis after a full day of doing nothing but relaxing. We DEFINITELY recommend this resort and we actually plan on staying there again when we go in May 2008.

Let me first say the grounds are absolutely beautiful. As you pull up to the front entrance you are greeted by friendly bell men and valet guys. They take your stuff to your room while you check in. As you walk through the main entrance, you encounter an open air atrium and an awesome view straight through the building to the ocean and beach. Quite a welcome. The pools are very nice and plentiful so they are never packed. The food is very good but quite pricey... but what do you expect from a luxury resort? The room was very clean and comfortable and the maid service was very friendly and attentive. We would stay here again and again...

Very pricey, but absolutely beautiful. Our oceanview room was very large, nice balcony, huge bathroom. Everything was very clean. The pool and lagoon were unbelievable. Pool is open 24 hours and goes on forever. Lots of hot tubs tucked here and there. Free laundry was a nice touch. Poolside snack area was not too expensive, but skip the breakfast in the hotel. Very expensive. Beach can be pretty rough, but still alot of fun. Rent boogie boards from Snorkel Bob's. Poipu Bay golf course was outstanding.
