Very snobbish

Upon arrival the front desk clerk acted like she didn't want to help us. Then we made it known we wanted a room for a few nights. Her whole attitude was very stand-offish towards us. We were tired so I didn't think much of it until the next day. Most of the staff were professional but it seemed strained on their part. The fact that I was at a Sheraton I never expected to be treated like I was there. I've been to several Sheraton Hotels and always felt welcomed but the Dover property just made me fill unwanted. We were going to stay for four days but after the first 24hours the way we were treated was a definite turn-off. The hotel was recently renovated yet the hot tub in the pool area was closed. The ceiling was leaking in several places throughout the lobby, the bellman was obnoxious to say the least. All in all for the money they charge for a nights stay I expected to be treated with more respect and I expected a well kept property. The whole stay was disappointing

Pleasant Surprise

My family and I just spent a night at the Sheraton, and were impressed! Very courteous, personable staff; very good free breakfast at surprisingly nice onsite restaurant; attractive lobby, room, and conference areas; reasonable rates. We were told the hotel had just remodeled, and they did a great job. Only problem was a cigarette smell in our bathroom and in the hallway of our "non-smoking" floor...seemed to be seeping through drop celing in bathroom. Improve the insulation / ventilation, and we'll be all set! Also, would be nice to add frig/microwave to rooms.

Very nice hotel, with nice rooms. The only thing missing was a micro frig and a microwave.

I don't understand the lobby area is very beautiful and atrium area is as well. The rooms however were horrible. The AC cover was off laying to the side of the unit, there were towels shoved up under it the carpet was soaked about three feet out and the bathroom tile was all busted up. They had just placed some kind of desk in the room and it covered the curtains so they just cut them off! No tailoring or anything. The phone system was terrible as well

Nice full breakfast. Atrium room was very hot, but hotel moved me to another room that was much cooler. Friendly service and large rooms.
