Great Night's Sleep in Midtown

My husband and I often visit NYC to shop, attend sports events, concerts, and shows. This was absolutely the best moderately priced room we have ever stayed in. The room was small but clean and comfortable. We are normally up at 6 AM but were able to sleep until almost 10...in Midtown. It is in close proximity to excellent restaurants, lounges, shopping, transportation, and sight seeing. We will definitely stay here again.
Great Location, perfect for a short visit

My mom and I go to New York every year for 2 to 3 nights. We like to stay close to Times Square and this hotel location was perfect. Walk right out of the hotel into times square. The rooms are very nice just SMALL. It was fine for the two of us. We were only in the room at night to sleep and to get ready. We had problems with the volume on the tv and the air conditioner (yes it was hot in our room, 80 degrees or higher) but it was fixed right away. My biggest concern was the construction going on. They wake you up by 7:30 and it is very loud. The walls must be thin because you can hear everything! I was frustrated by that, but overall it was good. The beds are very comfortable and the room was clean and it was a reasonable price. I would stay there again.
Not worth the price

Room was extremely small, elevators worked poorly, hotel was under construction. Our window looked out onto a brick wall. This was a very expensive and not worth the money.
Everything we needed!

Our three single rooms at this hotel were perfect -- CLEAN, COOL (great A/C), and QUIET and DARK for sleeping. The location was ideal. Bed was comfy, with nice linens. One of our three rooms was teeny-tiny... literally about 8'x8' with no bureau/drawers and only a shower, no bath. The other two were perfectly comfortable (must have been upgrades). But who hangs out in the hotel when you're in NYC? In this case, size didn't matter. (But if you book a special rate online, call the hotel before check-in to request a room larger than the teeny-tiniest type.) But overall fabulous!

Location next to Times Square was good. Room size was a little small but manageable. Unfortunately hotel was undergoing alterations so a little messy Good value for price
