For a minute i thought i was working on the railroad , You have to love trains if you wish to stay at this location even though my girlfriend could get some sleep i had no sleep whatsoever due to the incoming trains that passed just about every hour , to much horn blowing if u ask me ...

I made reservation on line . I discovered I'd requested a smoking room by mistake. I promply called the hotel and spoke to XXX about it. I said I do not want a smoking room.He said no problem and he seemed to be changing that during our conversation. When we checked in quess what happened? That's right! The only room they had was a smoking room. It was disqusting.Everything was saturated with cigeretts. We were so tired we stayed. Not much sleep trains and terrible smell. We woke up with horrible headaches!! I believe this motel should be taken off the travel website listing !! .

This motel is located 200 feet from a RR track and you will have trains and train horns going every 15 minutes, all day, all night. If you love trains and are an insomniac you'll love it! If not.... Then stay away.

The desk attendant was VERY rude. We ended up going elsewhere because it was obvious they did not want us with a coupon. My policy, if I owned a hotel, would be to fill my rooms. I guess they were more concerned with making big bucks than making anything.

renewed my faith

We had a horrible stay at a Best Western the night before and almost cancelled - glad we didn't. The staff was very friendly and gave us maps of the area, pointing out places to eat and visit. The room was average but good for a one night stay. Yes the trains were loud but it is a Train Town, we expected it. It helped to run the fan/air cond. all night. Although not the best place we've stayed at the one night stop over renewed my faith in Best Westerns.
