SHERATON HOTEL DOWN TOWN DENVER

  • December 11, 2008
  • Rated 3 of 5 by a traveler from Travelocity.com
The location of the hotel was ideal as it is connected to the walking mall. Easy walk to about anything you want including; shopping restaurants, theaters and museums. They also have electric buses running up and down the mall on a regular schedule. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We asked for an extra blanket and it arrived promptly. Unfortunately the hotel is in the middle of a major renovation. The pool was closed and the work out room equipment was not being maintained. There is not a restaurant currently at the hotel, but will be after the remodel. It should be very nice when completed. I would recommend the Sheraton as a good place to stay when visiting downtown Denver.

This place is an absolute bargain! Lots of amenities for very little money! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to the downtown Denver area.

It wasn't what I hoped for

The front desk clerk wasn't very friendly the first day. The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and I was staying in a suite. The hotel was in two buildings and the desk in the building where I was staying was unmanned, so to speak. I didn't feel like there was any security in the building because the only employees I saw were the housekeeping staff.

Great location, close to Mint, State Capitol, Coors Field, downtown and the 16th st mall. Parking was $19.00 per day, a bit excessive I thought. Used priceline and got a room for $70.00 plus taxes and parking. I would stay here again.

Adam's Mark Hotel

I stayed at Adam's Mark Hotel for a convention. The spacious lobby was decorated by impressive large statues of horses. The room was typical, sanitized, and overpriced. The hotel was conveniently located downtown, which made it easy to get back to the hotel. A complimentary downtown shuttle bus goes right by the front of the hotel, up and down the street for shoppers.

What's really nice about paying the extra money for a hotel room in the same hotel as the convention is that it's nice just to ride the elevator back to the room, instead of traveling back to your cheaper room in some other part of town.
