Two adults with a 12 year old and 9 year old stayed here for spring break. First, the hotel was pretty, clean, quiet, and spacious; excellent location; very attentive staff. I recommend getting a room with the kitchen which we found very convenient. Grocery store is one block away, also the subway is very close at Lexington and 51st. We can't wait to go back!

It was my second time heading to New York. But, where do I stay! I always loved Midtown area and Affinia 50 was perfect. Great location, wonderful staff and a comfortable stay. My experience with New York was a GREAT one. Having to to stay at the most fabulous environment was AWESOME. Thanks Affinia 50 and it's staff members. I'll see you again...

Went on a vacation. The Affinia was the pefect place to rest at the end of a busy day. Our room was huge and wonderfully appointed. The service was spectacular...especially Rome the doorman! We would stay here again. It was awesome!!

Everything about this hotel went above and beyond our expectations, since this was our first trip to NYC. Good location, FABULOUS STAFF, SUPERIOR SERVICE, the linens and beds were fantastic (this from avowed hotel-phobics - they jumped right into the beds and under the sheets!) From the moment we stepped off the shuttle until we departed we were treated like royalty - A, B, C, D, E, everyone was wonderful......you can tell these folks really enjoy their jobs! If possible, upgrade to the jr. suites, having the kitchen and the pullout couch made a big difference in what we would have spent on drinks, breakfast, snacks, etc. The room was huge, spotless, the bathroom stocked with Aveda products. We will definitely plan another trip and stay here!

I enjoyed my stay at the Affina 50. My room was well appointed,quiet with a wonderful view of the river. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom large and stocked with good quality bath products and lots of towels. There was a pillow menu so I could chose the type of pillow .The best feature of the hotel is it's location, on East 50th and 3rd Ave. Only 8 miles from La Guardia and within walking distance of the Frick and Metro. Museum. There are many places to eat around there and it is only 9 blocks from Bloomingdales. The staff are all very accomidating.
