Recenetly stayed in the Affinia 50 based on good reviews, and reports on the size of the rooms particularly. Booked a junior suite and was very impressed with the size of the beds, the really quite huge room, as well as a small lounge area and a small kitchen area. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent - just a few minutes walk away from the best part of 5th avenue. If there were any cons, it would be the relatively expensive wireless rate and that the rooms were initially a bit hot (althrough the air con seemed to improve after a couple of days). In all, great value for money and I'll certainly be considering this hotel for my next stay.

This hotel was in a wonderful location it really was close to everything. Like the reader before me also from Hope Mills (though I was not in there group) there were plenty of snacks in the room but they were really pricey and it was cheaper just to get the snacks elsewhere and bring them back to you room.. My room was a nice size room I had one queen bed but pletny of rrom to walk around in. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area.Everyday I had a question about how to get to a place since this was my first time to NYC and everyday there was somebody willing to give me the information with a friendly smile. This hotel is very close to alot of attractions in NYC. There is no resturant in the hotel but I did not find this to be a problem there are plenty of places to eat around the hotel. I would recommend the Red Stone Pizzaria (they sell far more than just pizza and priced really resonable and they are like right around the corner from the hotel. I can not wait to come back to NYC and stay at this hotel again.

Couldn't have picked a better place to stay! We had 6 people in our room, we were in a jr. suite. It had 2 queen size beds and a queen size pull out sleeper, which they made up for us every night. The shower drain was stopped up and as soon as we called, they sent someone up and fixed it. When we needed extra towels or wash clothes they were delivered to us right away. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The doormen were always there to help you if you needed a taxi, or help with your packages. If you needed info just call down to the desk. They had all kinds of snacks and assortment of drinks (sodas, juice, iced coffee's, wine and liquor) in the room for you if you wanted them, but they were very costly. I did not use any of these, I brought mine from outside of the hotel because they were much cheaper. The beds were great to sleep in, did not wake up with a back ache like I normally do...lol. Everything we wanted to do and to see was within walking distance of the Affinia 50, I am so glad we choose this place to stay and I will come back to this place to stay again.

2 queen beds, sleeper sofa and kitchen. More than enough room for 4 adults! Nice to have a refrigerator to stash some gourmet goodies/wine and save a little money. Continental breakfast a little pricey at $14.95 but nice little breakfast place next door. Subway 1 block away. Cozy 2nd floor lounge area where coffee available all day. Limited exercise equipment but open 24 hours.

The hotel is within walking distance of time square, 5th ave, Rockefeller center and much more. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful. Very nice décor and a awesome fluffy bed! I just got back and I’m already planning my next visit.
